Break the chain

Have you ever wondered,

How drops of water become a river,

That roars and ripples before pouring into the sea.

Have you ever wondered,

How a spark can give birth to a fire,

That devours everything that stands in its way.

Have you ever wondered,

How a Lilliputian monster brought life to a halt,

That invited chaos and panic into the world.

The only force stronger than nature’s wrath,

Will be humanity’s strength to stand together to fight it.

For humanity to stand against a virus ,

Keep distance, stay at home, wash your hands ,

And break the chain.

I will go to my mother

I will go to mother,

in summertime,

when her laughter is as the daisies in the grass.

I will go to my mother,

In the winter,

when I feel my blood is frozen,

for you are my shelter and my guardian.

I will go to my mother in the autumn,

For the colour of life is full and shaky,

But you, mother, will bring joy into my life.

I will go to my mother in the spring,

as she will sing a song to me,

Like the birds chirping on the tree!

The Invincible King

The invincible king,

So ruthless he was,

My heart and breath he stole.

Whenever he came to play his game,

A shiver went down my spine,

For that was a sign,

That death is going to dine on my breath.

You are snatched away into an unknown land,

Where a hundred souls rest

Whether we call it heaven or hell,

We all hope to rest under an eternally peaceful spell.
